Queer and Growing: Part 6

You remember when you were just a little seed. LMAO, you probably don't. I don't either. Anyways, you were planted by your mother and father. Even if you were planted by mistake or on purpose, they tilled the soil and watered you until you sprouted. When you were a little sprout, everyone took turns feeding loving and catering to your every need. Even though you were supervised,  you still were apart of the world. They could not protect you always. So of course you go through life facing the storms and tribulations. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? So, you begin to grow into the tree you were always meant to be. Everyone thinks they are grown at some point but in actuality, there isn't a true stunt in growth. Even the oldest trees still have to go through the seasons. Even the oldest trees shed their leaves in the fall and grow them back in the spring. Learning that you are forever going to be growing no matter the class, race and situation. This can be a hard pill to swallow. Many people always say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but in reality you can. People who believe this are settling and settling is never the answer. You will be lost in time settling and not looking to educate yourself and grow. I do believe there is a certain point where you should stop and thats death. You can't fight life and what it has to offer. Life will bring trials and triumphs everyday. Imagine going to an event and they are asking you about the new things that are preparing in life and you state, "Oh I don't look at that stuff because thats for those who are young and still learning.." I know about you but personally think that is a total turn off. Kind of like you just gave up on life. I also think that pdf you are informing the youth of this message. You are hurting them. They need to understand that life is evolutionary. Life is abundant and fruitful and there are more to offer than just your 20 - 60's. To all My queer and Black readers, How do you feel about growing abundantly? do you feel  like some people are gate keeper?  How would you convince another to be fruitful? How do you plan to change the narrative about growth and how its a positive for everyone?
