Queer and Still growing: Part 5

As Im outside waiting for public transportation to scoop me toward this 9-5, I couldn’t help but think about how certain people don’t care about logic. Humans seem to only understand when emotions are involved. For example, on “X”, people only target peoples ethos so they can persuade an audience to side with their thought process. This is propaganda used by media blogs, so it‘s not odd that people are bandwagoners. The art of persuasion has become so strategic, I fear we as a generation and a community have lost the power of original thoughts. The aspect of getting a geuine and authetic opinion has almost become instict. As a people, I believe that we should start advocating for the truth. As a people, we should strat empowering ourselves to be better and greater thinkers. It’s also interesting that our communiry thinks social media pulls us together.… thats what they want us to think. Yes you have fell for the trap. Its ok. Everyone has, it’s such a big trap, how could you outrun it? However, now that you are aware, im providing you the resources ro sharpen your sword. Social media was nothing but another way to confuse the minority into thinking this platform Was a way of epxeession when WE (queer and black) people never created these applications for our people. These are controled platforms used to keep up with society, class, and minority voices. Socail media want to see what divides and what brings us together. Thats why the algorithm exists. They promoted It to be for us, but this is a way to see how they can continue to make money off of this simple machine. They will do anything to keep it going.… i mean look at how the goverment Is handling TIK-TOK. Its just a time in oyr community to stop blaming others for what we can do now. We must acknowledge whats Happening and then look for resolutions For ohr community! We deserve to have authenticity and capatalise off our own creative and diverse work. To My queer and black people reading, how would you try to change the narrative on how we use social media? How would you try to bring back authenticity in our community? Do you think logic is iverwheighed by emotions in 2024?

Queer and Hip Hop culture

 Kanye west just released a new album. Well its the sequel to his most recent venture. So I was on you guys favorite porn site twitter aka "X" , and this supposed Hip-hop influencer stated that no one was worried about the album anymore. I just sit back and think, how would someone who classifies themselves a s ship hop influencer or commentator, not care about one of the most innovative, original, talented,  voices in hip hop. Without Kanye, there wouldn't be a lot of artists today. So doing me, I commented and stated some real life things like, "Oh I bet you care now." Of course he lies for clout and to make himself seem right but why lie? For the queer community, if you are an artist, music for us is a true art form. Queer and Transitioning from Sad to Happy

So Its real and its not fake. It can actually happen for all of us. We can truly be happy. We just have to find our own lake. Or maybe its the transition from Summer to Fall. Who knows, but  I am finally able to see how someone can become happy. It's like Toni Morrison. Toni Morrison didn't truly find peace until she found a lake in her back yard. I say this to say, to all my queer and black readers, Find your lake like Toni Morrison. She found a lake that provided her peace. As she was given peace, she was able to actually write masterpieces and be recognized for her artistry and work. Peace and happiness are simultaneous energy. When you are able to disassociate yourself from others issues and problems, you are able to find the peace in your own situations.
