Queer and living in your means

I remember a guy who bought a brand new Benz and I'm thinking, "oh wow, he has the new car....that means he has his finances in order." Arriving to his home, we pulled through an apartment complex. I was kinda thrown off because having an expensive car and living in an apartment is a tiny red flag. I get out of the car and I enter his home. We watch a movie and I ask, "Where is your bedroom, is it there?" He says and I quote, "No that's my roommates room." It through me off because you have these expensive shoes, clothes, and car yet you are rooming and living in an apartment. Understanding the economy is rough however, it jut taught me to manage my money and live within my means. There seems to be a lot of pressure on the queer community to keep up with the Johnsons. Even I had been at that point where I wanted to "Fit in" until I realized that god is working on me and that I have to live in what god has provided me. This is also not a christian blog or god oriented but I am a firm believer that What Is for me will be for me. As a queer, I advise everyone who is feeling like they should keep up with the Johnsons to stop! Its not worth the stress or headache. Buy the cloths that make you happy and fit your budget. Also, you can find items that resemble what you are working towards. I think imitating or wearing items that are similar to what you desire is a great first step to manifesting your future. For example, If you want to have the perfect pairs of Levi jeans, you buy regular jeans and get them sized. Or go to goodwill and buy old Levi Jeans and wear them like the jeans you desire. Eventually god will bless you with the strength and actions to get toward your financial goal. God wants all of us to value and be grateful for what we have now instead of complaining about the blessings are given. I want to be able to fully love the moments in my life right now because I will never get these years back again. I fear regret and I don't want my adult hood to be like my childhood where I wasn't as present. To all my queer and black readers, Are you trying to keep up with the Johnsons? Do you want to be the person you want to be in the future? What is one thing that you are doing top elevate yourself into a better financial space?

Queer and Hip Hop culture

 Kanye west just released a new album. Well its the sequel to his most recent venture. So I was on you guys favorite porn site twitter aka "X" , and this supposed Hip-hop influencer stated that no one was worried about the album anymore. I just sit back and think, how would someone who classifies themselves a s ship hop influencer or commentator, not care about one of the most innovative, original, talented,  voices in hip hop. Without Kanye, there wouldn't be a lot of artists today. So doing me, I commented and stated some real life things like, "Oh I bet you care now." Of course he lies for clout and to make himself seem right but why lie? For the queer community, if you are an artist, music for us is a true art form. Queer and Transitioning from Sad to Happy

So Its real and its not fake. It can actually happen for all of us. We can truly be happy. We just have to find our own lake. Or maybe its the transition from Summer to Fall. Who knows, but  I am finally able to see how someone can become happy. It's like Toni Morrison. Toni Morrison didn't truly find peace until she found a lake in her back yard. I say this to say, to all my queer and black readers, Find your lake like Toni Morrison. She found a lake that provided her peace. As she was given peace, she was able to actually write masterpieces and be recognized for her artistry and work. Peace and happiness are simultaneous energy. When you are able to disassociate yourself from others issues and problems, you are able to find the peace in your own situations.
